The role of Senior Manager - Store Operations is a multifaceted one. The main focus is to align people, systems and processes behind retail business goals and thereby achieve or exceed planned top line sales, bottom line profit and growth in market share.
One of the key objectives of this role is to ensure that current and future stores consistently operate much more efficiently, cost effectively and productively. In addition, the overall standard of retail operation should be consistent with international “best practice”.
This will be a highly influential and strategically important role. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Flagship / Senior Store Manager or Area / Regional Manager. Working closely with buying, merchandising, marketing, distribution, finance, IT, security, property, human resources and other central business functions, and supporting store & field management teams, he or she will play a pivotal in raising and maintaining “best in class” store operating standards.

The successful candidate will be a talented and dynamic senior executive with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the construction industry, and ideally with specialist knowledge and experience of steel/metals and related product sectors.
A graduate with 10 years plus construction management experience ideally gained with blue chip companies in a variety of increasingly demanding and complex senior level roles. Candidates will have first class technical, financial, professional, managerial and leadership skills.
In addition they should possess an impressive record of personal and career achievement gained with internationally renowned construction companies. Extensive experience of working in India or a similar emerging market will be of particular value, as will the ability to thrive within a complex, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic working environment.
